We're Hiring: Construction & Real Estate Development Financial Analyst
Love numbers? Think big. Help us build what's next.
We're in the business of turning excellent ideas into thriving communities. From land acquisitions to residential developments, every successful project starts with a solid financial strategy.
We're looking for a Financial Analyst who loves diving into the numbers, solving complex challenges, and seeing the bigger picture.
If Excel is your happy place, you know your way around a development proforma, and you enjoy being part of a team that brings projects to life, we'd love to meet you!
What You'll Be Doing
You'll play a key role in the financial planning and success of our development projects. No two days will look exactly the same!
- Make the numbers work. Build and maintain detailed financial models for land acquisitions, low-rise residential, condominium, and mixed-use developments.
- See the potential. Analyze project feasibility, profitability, risks, and opportunities to help guide smart investment decisions.
- Keep projects on track. Monitor budgets, analyze actual costs against forecasts, and identify potential financial challenges before they become problems.
- Tell the story behind the numbers. Create insightful reports, financial presentations, and investment summaries for senior leadership.
- Stay ahead of the market. Research land values, construction costs, market conditions, and sales trends to support financial projections.
- Get involved from the ground up. Assist with land acquisition due diligence, project financing, construction draws, and lender reporting.
- Work with the whole team. Collaborate with construction, project management, sales, and accounting to keep financial forecasts accurate and relevant.
- Make things better. Help streamline reporting processes, improve financial tools, and find smarter ways of working.
What You Bring to the Table
We're looking for someone who's analytical, curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable rolling up their sleeves.
The must-haves:
- 4–7 years of experience in financial analysis, including at least 3 years in real estate development, homebuilding, or a related industry.
- Advanced Excel skills. And we mean advanced! Financial modeling is a major part of this role, and your skills will be assessed.
- A solid understanding of development proformas, land acquisition financials, construction costs, and project financing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for the details.
- The ability to juggle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and keep things organized.
- Great communication skills. You can explain complicated financial information without making everyone's eyes glaze over.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with construction financing, loan draws, and lender reporting.
- Experience preparing investment presentations and working with senior management.
- A knack for improving processes and making spreadsheets work smarter, not harder.
Why Join Us?
Because your work should be about more than just spreadsheets.
This is an opportunity to be involved in exciting real estate development projects, contribute to meaningful business decisions, and see the impact of your work from the initial planning stages through to project completion.
We're looking for someone who wants to take ownership, bring fresh ideas to the table, and grow alongside our business.
