We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sushi Maker to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality sushi and Japanese dishes, ensuring all food safety standards are met, and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Responsibilities

- Prepare and assemble sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and handled in accordance with food safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station and kitchen area
- Assist in meal preparation and cooking as needed to support overall kitchen operations
- Serve customers with professionalism, answering questions about menu items and making recommendations when appropriate
- Follow all food handling procedures to uphold health regulations and safety standards




- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking

Experience

- Previous experience in food service, particularly in sushi making or Japanese cuisine, is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Background in serving, food preparation, cooking, or restaurant experience is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and kitchen operations within the food industry is essential
- Experience with meal preparation and food safety standards will contribute to success in this role
