Kitchen Assistant

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment, handle multiple tasks, and maintain high standards of food safety and customer service.

Responsibilities

- Prepare ingredients, including washing, cutting, and portioning vegetables and meats.
- Assist cooks with daily food preparation and kitchen operations.
- Take customer orders and process payments at the front counter.
- Portion cooked food, assemble orders, and pack takeout meals accurately and efficiently.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, storage areas, and kitchen equipment.
- Receive deliveries and organize inventory.
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Perform other kitchen and restaurant duties as needed.

Requirements

- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is an asset but not required.




- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, responsible, and detail-oriented.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team.
- Willingness to learn and perform different duties.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen duties.
