As a Junio Mold Maker, you’ll support mold production through practical machining, assembly, and drawing-based work. You’ll use manufacturing tools and technical information to help create accurate components and keep work moving smoothly for colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Read schematics and CAD drawings, using measurements and basic math to plan and check work.
- Operate CNC equipment, including CNC lathes and CNC milling machines, and assist with CNC programming.
- Use hand tools and calipers to machine, fit, and assemble mold components; support welding tasks as needed.
- Apply AutoCAD and SolidWorks to review or prepare designs and communicate production details.
- Your impact: Accurate components and clear handoffs help colleagues maintain an productive manufacturing workflow.
Skills
Required: Practical mechanical knowledge, safe use of hand tools, accurate measurement with calipers, and the ability to interpret schematics and apply basic math to machining and assembly tasks. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and CNC equipment supports day-to-day production work.
Preferred: Experience with CNC programming, CNC lathes, CNC milling machines, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CAD, and welding can help you contribute across mold design and production.
