Sales Consultant – Custom Closet & Home Organization Solutions

Are you a proven sales professional in the custom closet, home organization, cabinetry, renovation, kitchen, bath, or interior solutions industry? Do you enjoy meeting homeowners, uncovering their needs, and helping them invest in solutions that make their homes more functional and organized?

STOR-X® Calgary continues to grow and is looking for a driven, customer-focused Sales Consultant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on building relationships, generating referrals, and closing sales while helping clients transform their homes.

While some design experience is beneficial, sales success is our top priority. We can teach our products, systems, and design software to the right candidate.

Hours: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. (a flexible schedule is desired to meet the clients needs)

Key Responsibilities

- Meet with homeowners through pre-qualified showroom and in-home consultations.
- Build rapport, uncover client needs, and recommend customized storage solutions.
- Guide clients through the entire sales process from consultation to signed agreement.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and presentations.
- Conduct accurate site measurements and gather project requirements.
- Use our design software to create and present customized solutions.
- Collaborate with installers and production teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Generate referrals and repeat business through outstanding customer service.
- Build relationships with builders, designers, real estate professionals, and other referral partners.
- Participate in networking and community events to grow your professional network and sales opportunities.

What we’re looking for:

- Proven success in sales.
- Experience in custom closet design,



home organization, or related industries.
- Understanding of closet installation processes, materials, and space-planning principles.
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to uncover client needs and provide solutions.
- Flexibility to work with our client’s schedule (which could be outside of normal business hours).
- Exceptional customer service and relationship-building abilities.
- Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong measuring and space-planning skills.
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects and follow-ups.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Professional, positive, and results-driven attitude.
- Interior design education or related experience is an asset.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required for in-home consultations.
