Meal Advisor – M&M; Food Market

Location: Clayton Park Plaza
Pay: $17/hour
Hours: 6–12 hours per week, typically 1–3 shifts

Availability Requirements

Open availability is required Monday–Friday, 2 PM–8 PM, and weekends, 9 AM–7 PM. Most weekday shifts are 2 PM–8 PM, while weekend shifts typically fall between 11 AM and 7 PM. Please do not apply if you cannot accommodate these availability requirements.

About the Role

Reporting to the Franchise Partner, the Meal Advisor creates a welcoming in-store experience by providing friendly, knowledgeable customer service and helping customers find products and meal solutions. Responsibilities include learning about products and promotions, receiving and organizing inventory, maintaining store cleanliness, and supporting daily store operations.

- Is comfortable using computers in a Windows-based environment and has positive telephone etiquette.
- Can lift boxes weighing up to 40 pounds and work in a cold freezer environment.
- Has reliable transportation to work.

Key Responsibilities

- Customer Service & Sales: Sell M&M; Food Market products, provide accurate product information, and use suggestive selling techniques to recommend complementary products and enhance the customer experience.
- Inventory & Merchandising: Receive deliveries, stock and rotate products, organize freezer inventory, maintain inventory counts, and reprice products as needed.
- Promotions & Marketing: Set up and remove promotional materials, update signs and menu or price boards, and organize food sampling events, including food preparation and promotion.
- Store Operations: Maintain store cleanliness, operate the point-of-sale system, and complete banking procedures, including preparing deposits.
- Food Safety & Standards: Follow all food safety, quality, and marketing policies and procedures.
- Additional Duties: Complete other tasks as assigned by the Franchise Partner or Store Manager.

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6.0 – 18.0 per week
