About the role

Ayoub’s Dried Fruits & Nuts is looking for an outgoing Sales Manager to lead our Richmond Centre kiosk. We specialize in premium nuts, dried fruits, chocolates and gifts, and we’re looking for someone who enjoys introducing customers to our products and turning a friendly conversation into a sale.

Your main focus will be driving sales and customer engagement. You’ll spend most of your time alongside your team, approaching shoppers, offering samples, recommending products and helping customers find something they’ll love. You’ll take ownership of sales results and coach your team to bring that same energy to every shift.

What you’ll do

- Take ownership of daily and weekly sales targets, communicate goals to the team and follow through on results.
- Proactively engage shoppers passing the kiosk, start conversations and invite them to discover our products.
- Lead sampling by example, particularly during busy mall hours, and help turn product tastings into purchases.
- Understand what customers are shopping for and recommend suitable products, gifts and complementary items.
- Grow average transaction value through thoughtful recommendations, add-on sales and gift options.
- Train and coach the team on approaching customers, product knowledge, sampling and closing sales.
- Build relationships that encourage customers to return and recommend Ayoub’s to others.
- Review sales performance, identify opportunities and adjust the team’s approach throughout the day.




- Organize shifts and daily tasks so customer service and selling remain the priority during peak periods.
- Keep the kiosk attractive, clean, organized and fully stocked, with clear pricing and appealing displays.
- Oversee opening and closing, POS transactions, cash handling, stock replenishment and inventory accuracy.
- Follow food safety and company procedures, minimize waste and communicate stock needs or operational concerns promptly.

What we’re looking for

- Experience in retail sales, with previous team leadership or supervisory experience.
- A track record of meeting sales targets and helping others improve their sales performance.
- Confidence approaching recent people and starting conversations in a busy mall environment.
- A friendly, energetic approach and the ability to make customers feel welcome without pressure.
- Someone who leads by example, takes initiative and keeps the team motivated.
- Strong communication, organization and customer service skills.
- Availability for daytime, evening, weekend and holiday shifts throughout the contract.
- Experience with kiosks, pop-ups, specialty food or gifting is an asset.
