BRON is looking for a Burner Operator to join our team!

Ideal Candidate Responsibilities:

· MUST be able to operate a plasma and oxy fuel burner.

· Cutting thicknesses from gauge material to 5" and produce a quality part.

· Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.

· Operate CNC burn table equipment and related touch-screen controls.

· Set up, monitor, and adjust machine operations to ensure accurate cuts and effective production.

· MUST have knowledge of material type, grade, thicknesses, and finished part quality.



Ability to verify using measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, and squares)

· Has proficient knowledge of imperial measurements and decimal conversions.

· Handle a variety of steel materials and part sizes while maintaining production standards.

· Demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

· Maintain a steady work pace and meet production schedules.

· Perform routine equipment inspections and identify maintenance requirements.

· Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.

· Forklift and overhead crane experience is considered an asset.

· Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality workmanship.

Pay: $34.88 per hour

Experience:

- CNC laser cutting: 3 years (required)
