Manufacturing Engineer – Temporary Contract

We are looking for two experienced Manufacturing Engineers to join our team on a temporary contract for an initial period of three to four months, with the possibility of an extension. The positions are based in Montréal, Québec, and require travel to the Chicago area and other locations as needed.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, review, and update manufacturing work instructions.
- Translate engineering and production requirements into clear shop-floor documentation.
- Create and maintain ERP manufacturing data.
- Set up and validate bills of materials, manufacturing processes, operations, and routings.
- Support ERP data requirements for R&O; and Manufacturing.
- Verify the accuracy and consistency of item, material, process, and production data.
- Work with engineering, production, quality, supply chain, and ERP stakeholders to resolve documentation or data issues.
- Review existing manufacturing processes and identify gaps or improvement opportunities.
- Support production-readiness and industrialization activities.
- Assist with the implementation of manufacturing changes.
- Participate in project meetings and provide progress updates.




- Travel to the Chicago area and other locations as required to support on-site activities.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, industrial, mechanical, or a related engineering field.
- Relevant experience in manufacturing engineering or production support.
- Hands-on experience developing manufacturing work instructions.
- Experience creating or maintaining bills of materials, manufacturing processes, and routings in an ERP system.
- Good understanding of manufacturing methods, production workflows, and engineering documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with large amounts of technical data.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Robust communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in both English and French is required.
- Availability and ability to travel to the Chicago area and other locations are required.
- A valid passport and the ability to enter the United States for business travel are required.
- Canadian citizenship is required.
