Duties
- Manage the overall operation of the body shop, including workflow, staffing, and customer interactions
- Supervise technicians and support staff to ensure timely, high-quality repairs that meet industry standards
- Develop and implement productive processes for vehicle intake, repair estimates, and quality control
- Build strong relationships with customers by providing transparent communication and outstanding service
- Identify opportunities for upselling additional services or repairs to enhance customer satisfaction and shop revenue
- Oversee cash handling procedures, invoicing, and billing accuracy
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices to ensure a secure work environment
Requirements
- Proven experience managing a dealership body shop or similar automotive repair facility
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on mechanic experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Demonstrated ability to upsell services while maintaining integrity and customer trust
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes, parts ordering, and quality assurance standards
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Previous experience with dealership operations or automotive sales is highly desirable
