Overview
Grand River Music Therapy is hiring a Certified Music Therapist to fulfill 4 hours per week in a long-term care home in Paris, ON. The sub-contract is a maternity leave contract and begins April 2027.
Responsibilities
- Provide group and individual music therapy sessions as needed
- Document using PointClickCare
- Report to the Program Manager of the home and work within the recreation team
Education
- Required: Certified Music Therapist (MTA)
Skills
- Demonstrated ability to play guitar, sing, and use a variety of other instruments
- Experience working with seniors and individuals with dementia
