Armour Security & Protection Services Corporation (ASPS), one of BC’s fastest-growing and results-driven security companies, is seeking licensed Security Guards for various sites in Kelowna. Please note: We are seeking reliable candidates who can commit to a permanent position for at least six months. Candidates who cannot make a long-term commitment may still be considered for on-call assignments.

What You'll Do:

- Maintain a strong, visible presence to support the safety of office employees, clients, and visitors.
- Stand watch at designated entrances, reception areas, waiting rooms, or other assigned locations.
- Monitor for safety concerns, suspicious activity, unauthorized access, or disruptive behaviour.
- Support line management by respectfully guiding clients to the appropriate waiting area or service counter when instructed by office staff.
- Monitor building access points and ensure only authorized individuals enter staff-only or restricted areas.
- Conduct routine patrols of public areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and restricted locations.
- Use professional de-escalation techniques when assisting individuals who are distressed, aggressive, or experiencing a crisis.
- Respond promptly to disturbances, threats, medical emergencies, alarms, and other security incidents.
- Assist office staff during emergencies and contact police, fire, or emergency medical services when required.




- Observe and document incidents or unusual activity using Armour Security reporting procedures.
- Protect confidential information and respect the privacy and dignity of all clients.
- Remain neutral and direct all questions regarding office services, applications, or client files to authorized staff.
- Follow all site post orders, emergency procedures, and Armour Security policies.
- Maintain professional appearance, conduct, and communication at all times.

- Valid Security Worker License (BST)
