The Senior Project Management Resource will lead and coordinate the integration of OC Transpo's Barcode API with partner organizations, managing technical, legal, and operational aspects to enable seamless fare media access for transit customers. This role requires strong project management skills, stakeholder engagement, and experience with technology infrastructure implementations, particularly in payment or ticketing systems.
Responsibilities:
- Engage partner organizations to facilitate Barcode API integration.
- Guide partners through technical requirements and software development related to the API.
- Provide comprehensive project management including planning, coordination, and consultation.
- Collaborate with legal services to establish agreements supporting integration.
- Establish financial reporting and billing processes with partners.
- Communicate project progress and updates to OC Transpo stakeholders regularly.
- Support coordination of field trials and pilot activities, including stakeholder communication and operational readiness.
- Identify and engage potential new third-party partners to expand transit integration with ticketed events.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 10 years experience in implementing complex technology infrastructures.
- At least 2 years of project management experience in technology solution implementations.
- Experience with payment or ticketing systems.
- Proficiency in developing or managing API integrations.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems,
Administration, Commerce, or equivalent.
- Project Management Skilled (PMP) or Prince2 certification.
Desired Skills:
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English (reading and writing).
- Experience working with legal teams to develop contractual agreements.
