Night Shift- 9:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sunday to Wednesday (4 days)

Responsibilities:

NOTE-this role is more hands-on (60-80%) with the MHE training either conducting drive assessments, providing equipment, systems or efficiency training; possibly assisting in Operations with Picking and Loading .However, there are Administrative duties attached to this role.Experience with using a Warehouse Management System

- Supervise, coordinate, assign and review the daily work of new hires and trainees
- Establish work schedules, procedures and priorities and coordinate activities with other departments to ensure efficient workflow and training
- Supervise, train and coach employees on job duties, company policies, procedures, systems and workplace requirements including site safety, Material Handling Equipment, systems (including Warehouse management system), and quality training
- Deliver onboarding and ongoing training programs for new and existing employees
- Assess employee training needs and monitor employee performance to identify areas requiring additional coaching or training
- Resolve work-related issues and provide guidance to employees

Requirements:





- Minimum 5 years Material Handling Equipment experience is required (Stand-up counterbalance, Dockstocker,Reach, walkie)
- 2 years forklift trainer experience
- Strong oral and written communication
- Ability to apply effective adult learning techniques
- Ability to work well independently and within a team workplace
- Working knowledge of and the ability to interpret Material Handling Equipment legislation, Health & Safety standards, Warehouse management practices, and other applicable legislation
- Exceptional attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and engage with employees at all levels
- Expected to maintain a clean, well-groomed appearance
- Fully capable of working in varying temperatures ranging anywhere from 2° to 15°C in most Warehouses and from 0° to -30°C in Cold Storage buildings.
- Certified MHE trainer (Train the Trainer) or willing to complete
- Experience with wireless RF systems including voice picking considered an asset.

Pay: $25.75 per hour

Experience:

- Stand-up counterbalance, Dockstocker,Reach and walkie: 5 years (required)
- Forklift trainer: 2 years (required)
