Serving Campbell River and mid to northern Vancouver Island, we specialize in renovations, building envelope improvements, structural repairs, and construction projects of varying sizes and complexities. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Project Manager to join our team.

Position Overview

Oversee residential and commercial construction projects from formal handoff through successful completion, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget. This hands-on management role combines office administration with regular jobsite visits. The successful candidate independently manages day-to-day operations, while consulting senior management on significant financial or contractual decisions.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage assigned projects from initial handoff through completion and closeout.
- Develop schedules and coordinate internal crews, subcontractors, suppliers, materials, and inspections.
- Track project budgets, labour costs, expenditures, and job profitability; identify potential overruns early.
- Estimate and manage change orders on assigned active projects, securing required approvals.
- Lead employees and subcontractors to maintain productivity, workmanship, and safety standards.
- Maintain professional client communication, provide updates, and resolve concerns.




- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, safety, and compliance with applicable requirements.
- Maintain accurate project records and communicate performance and key decisions to senior management.

Qualifications & Experience

- Strong hands-on construction experience and knowledge of residential and commercial building practices.
- Experience supervising crews, coordinating trades, or managing construction projects.
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
- Understanding of construction budgets, cost control, and project profitability.
- Strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Valid driver’s licence.

Preferred: Renovation project management; carpentry, contracting, or construction supervision background; knowledge of BC building codes, permitting, relevant trade or management certification.
