As a Healthcare Security Guard with Paladin Security, you’ll use communication, customer service, and de-escalation skills to support safety at a healthcare facility in Canmore.

Pay and Schedule
- Pay: $26.50/hour
- Location: Canmore, Alberta
- Shift Hours: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
- Rotation: 2 day shifts and 2 night shifts
Responsibilities
- Conduct patrols and identify safety hazards, unauthorized visitors, and security breaches.
- Manage access to restricted areas and monitor CCTV.
- Respond to emergencies, alarms, and challenging situations using de-escalation skills.
- Support patient safety while respecting dignity and comfort.
- Complete accurate incident reports and shift logs.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare staff to maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, and employees.
Requirements
- Valid Alberta Security Worker Licence.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and de-escalation skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and respond to emergencies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability to work 12-hour day and night shifts on the assigned rotation.
Nice to Have
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Previous security, healthcare, or customer service experience.
