This includes design, engineering, fabrication, packaging and servicing a range of pressure vessels, pipe spooling, structural skids and cargo transports. Maxfield also services the truck and transport, natural resources (oil and natural gas, and mining), propane distribution and marketing, power generation and cryogenic industries across Canada.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Welding activities plus QC for welding program on site
- Follow weld procedures and quality requirements
- Willingness to learn new skills including pipefitting and inspections related to pressure vessels, both transport and storage.
- Pump and valve rebuilds
- Hydro Testing
- Retrofits
- Transport Canada related inspections
- Field service work is required (experience with NH3 and LPG equipment an asset).
- Other responsibilities as required





Qualifications:

- Hold a Valid B Pressure Welder Certificate
- Inter provincial Red Seal Journeyman Welder Certificate
- Minimum of 3 years of related work experience
- Valid driver’s license; Driver’s abstract required
- Ability to understand and read blue prints
- Ability to work at heights
- Ability to work within confined spaces
