Corporate Paralegal – Vernon #5167

We are currently seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal to join a busy Corporate Commercial team in Vernon, BC. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and organized professional with a minimum of 5 years of corporate paralegal experience who is comfortable managing a variety of transactions and corporate matters.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and draft corporate documentation for incorporations, amalgamations, continuances, dissolutions, restorations, dividend resolutions and other corporate matters
- Assist the Corporate Commercial team with documentation for share and asset purchases and sales, reorganizations, financing transactions and due diligence reviews
- Prepare and file corporate registry documents for British Columbia and federal corporations
- Conduct and coordinate due diligence searches, corporate reviews and related correspondence
- Process corporate transactions and registrations using BC Online, LTSA, ALF and other electronic filing platforms
- Maintain and update corporate records,



minute books and virtual corporate documentation systems
- Monitor important dates and deadlines and maintain effective bring-forward and file management systems to ensure filings and transactions are completed on time
- Liaise professionally with lawyers, clients and internal departments regarding corporate matters and transaction requirements

Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Corporate Paralegal
- Solid knowledge of corporate procedures, documentation and filing requirements
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a Corporate Commercial team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
