Food Plant Quality Assurance /Control Technician , North York Dufferin/Steels/Finch

Require :some Can. food plant quality control on production floor;or coop recent grad food plant quality work; NOT LAB experience ;post sec. science education ie BSc food science, micro. etc MS Excel Word ; NO LAB ;standing all day; able to correct production employees ; fairly hand made ready to eat meals, side dishes ;soups; sauces ;30 years in business;founded by a chef ;mostly retail products,some foodservice ;own brand and store brand

Duties:line checks: preop ,changeovers, & sanitation;metal detectors,scales .CCP GMP BB dates;lot No's & packaging;temperature of coolers, freezers,controlled temp.;verify productin control sheets for temp,weights,volume,sensory;finished product inspection (RTE meals, and side dishes, Fed inspected CFIA,SQF )support staff policies personal hygiene,



CORRECT EMPLOYEES so secure work;GMP training;work with production team quality paramentes, labels as per CFIA; raw material & finished product sampling;monitor for ATP swab non conformance;micro tests/environmental, allergens for product hold ;analyze data; HOURS Mon-Fri. 9 A.M-6 P.M., and 6 A.M-3PM ;occasional weekends ie Dec.
