Boscus Canada is a well-established lumber wholesaler, distributor and broker. We are looking for a Lumber Sales Representative to join our Burnaby sales team.
Your role:
- Develop and grow a portfolio of customers by prospecting new accounts and building long-term relationships
- Buy and sell lumber products: negotiate prices, volumes and delivery terms with customers and suppliers
- Monitor market trends and pricing to identify opportunities and act quickly
- Prepare quotes and process purchase and sales orders
- Follow up on orders from purchase to delivery, working closely with logistics and sales support
- Investigate and resolve customer and supplier issues, before and after the sale
- Keep the ERP and sales reports up to date
Your profile:
- Experience in sales,
ideally in lumber, building materials or commodity trading
- Knowledge of lumber products and the market, an asset
- Strong negotiation and communication skills; outgoing and persuasive
- Self-motivated and results-driven, able to make decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Organized, detail-oriented and efficient
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and computers in general
- Team player
What we offer:
- Permanent, full-time position
- Working hours: 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday to Friday
