This position will report to the Clinical Services Manager, Professional Practitioner.
Accountabilities:
- Assessment and management of dysphagia using clinical and instrumental assessment
- Communication and screening/assessment and management
- Providing education, resources and referral to patients and families in a clear and accessible manner
- Completing assessments and relays findings to patients, families and inter-qualified teams in a timely manner to facilitate access and flow
- Participating as part of the speech-language pathology team, attending meetings and education sessions where required
