Located in the town of Gibbons, this school welcomes students from Grades 5-9. Gibbons School has a strong academic program in addition to an award-winning music program and a range of dynamic options for complementary courses. The school is inclusive, where student programming is based on a student's strengths and abilities.

What You'll Be Doing

- Teach Junior High PE, Math, Social, Science
- Inspire students through inquiry-based, student-centered learning
- Differentiate instruction in an inclusive classroom setting
- Understanding and application of assessment for outcomes-based reporting
- Collaborate with colleagues to foster a safe and caring learning environment

What You Bring

- A valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
- Training and background in Elementary Education
- Experience teaching PE, Math, Social, Science
- Experience with inquiry learning and positive classroom management




- Strong skills in using educational technology to support learning
- Clear Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check
