This Analyst supports the second line of defense within BMO's Market Risk Governance team. You will help maintain process, risk and control inventories, regulatory inventories, monitoring plans, and governance reporting. The work develops expertise in risk management, internal controls, regulatory requirements, and compliance while involving stakeholders across both lines of defense.

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute control testing and document outcomes
- Maintain Market Risk process, risk, and control inventory
- Update regulatory applicability and control mappings




- Prepare governance presentations and senior management reporting
- Identify control gaps and escalate issues appropriately

Requirements:

- One to two years of relevant experience
- Post-secondary degree or equivalent education and experience
- Knowledge of risk management and internal controls
- Robust analytical, organizational, and communication skills
