Midland Transport is currently seeking professional Class 1 P&D; Owner Operator based in Kentville, NS. In this role, you will operate a tractor‑trailer to complete scheduled local routes, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional service to our customers. Schedule: Monday to Friday (10:00
- 20:00). Competitive Hourly rates $59.28 Fuel purchased at authorized by the Company fuel stops will be charged to the Owner Operator at a rate of $0.408. Safety and fuel bonus paid quarterly Ongoing training and advancement possibilities Deliver freight to assigned locations ensuring timely delivery Offload variable shipment weight and handle freight equipment properly and in a safe manner to avoid any damage Communicate efficiently with dispatch and customers Operate the tractor trailer in accordance with the safety regulation: company rules while following safety procedures and traffic laws Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the truck operation Must have a reliable Tractor Truck no older than eight years AZ driver's license with a minimum of 3 years of protected tractor trailer driving experience required Must have flexibility to work various shifts: Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends.
