Lead electrical infrastructure and technical building systems at the Vancouver School Board, working fully in person from Vancouver with District travel. This Manager, Facilities Maintenance and Technical Services oversees the Electrical Portfolio and related HVAC and roofing assets. The position requires facilities maintenance leadership, asset management, project planning, and regulatory compliance expertise. You will guide supervisors, manage service delivery, and support infrastructure renewal across more than 100 educational and support facilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead maintenance, repair, operation, and renewal programs
- Direct emergency response for electrical infrastructure failures
- Develop work plans, maintenance strategies, and capital plans
- Manage contractors,



consultants, budgets, and service delivery
- Provide technical advice to District stakeholders

Requirements:
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent preparation
- At least seven years of progressive facilities experience
- At least three years supervising or managing
- Experience with unionized workforces and collective agreements
- Valid British Columbia Driver's License Bring electrical systems leadership, lifecycle planning, and compliance expertise to Vancouver School Board facilities maintenance.
