This position serves the Nutrition and Food Services unit at Listowel Wingham Hospitals Alliance. The Chef prepares and distributes therapeutic, special, hospitality, and retail items, while the Dietary Aide provides meal service and communicates patient preferences. The work includes ordering, inventory, menu preparation, and patient diet updates.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and distribute therapeutic and special patient diets
- Provide front-line meal service to patients and customers
- Order groceries, produce, bread, milk, and supplies
- Prepare menu items,



snacks, desserts, and special requests
- Monitor temperatures, dates, rotation, and food recall items

Requirements:

- Ontario Secondary School Diploma completion
- Formal post-secondary Chefing or Nutrition and Food Services program
- Safe food handling certification
- One to two years of related experience
- Healthcare setting and therapeutic diet experience preferred
