Support biomedical research logistics at the RI-MUHC in Montreal, receiving packages and protecting temperature-sensitive shipments across laboratory deliveries.

Reporting to the Receiving and Distribution Supervisor, this full time clerk handles receiving, verification, sorting, storage, and internal distribution. The work supports laboratories and services at the RI-MUHC, with careful attention to cold-chain and chain-of-custody requirements. You will also handle compressed gas cylinders, dry ice, package tracking, and evolving inventory duties.

Key Responsibilities:

- Receive, verify, sort, and log packages at the dock
- Maintain cold chains for refrigerated, frozen, and cryogenic shipments
- Deliver packages to laboratories, lockers, and designated points




- Handle compressed gas cylinders and dry ice safely
- Track movements and maintain documented package traceability

Requirements:

- High school education
- French and English spoken and written
- Basic computer skills and organizational rigour
- Receiving, logistics, distribution, or material-handling experience considered an asset
- Ability to stand and handle potentially heavy packages regularly
