These nursing opportunities support acute mental health care across Providence Health Care sites. Nurses assess patients, develop individualized plans, provide evidence-based interventions, and respond to changing physical, psychological, and behavioural needs. Employment includes regular, temporary, full time, part-time, and casual options.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess patients and develop individualized nursing care plans
- Provide therapeutic interventions, crisis support, education, and group sessions
- Monitor progress and modify care based on evaluation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary providers and coordinate discharge planning




- Support quality improvement, research, education, and clinical initiatives

Requirements:

- Current British Columbia nursing registration as an RN or RPN
- One year recent acute psychiatry or tertiary mental health experience
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to perform area-appropriate Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation procedures
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and perform physical duties
