Toronto, Ontario (Remote) Employment Type: Part‑time, project‑based Entry‑level Compensation: CAD $22–$28/hour Ridgway is an independent technology and operations consultancy focused on helping businesses work smarter. We combine technical problem‑solving, automation, and process improvement to build practical solutions to everyday business challenges. Our work spans digital workflows, software tools, systems integration, and operational efficiency. We’re a small, hands‑on consultancy that values curiosity, initiative, and thoughtful problem‑solving over unnecessary complexity. Our page is where we’ll share company developments, insights into technology and automation, and future opportunities to get involved. We’re looking for a curious and motivated Junior Technology & Operations Associate to help support a growing range of technical and operational projects. This is an opportunity for someone early in their career who enjoys figuring out how things work, learning new technologies, and turning complicated problems into practical solutions. You’ll work directly with the consultant leading projects, contributing to research, implementation, testing, and documentation across different business and technical challenges. Because we’re a small consultancy, you’ll gain exposure to several aspects of project delivery rather than being limited to a single, repetitive responsibility. Technology & automation: Assist with developing, testing,
and improving digital workflows, lightweight automations, and software integrations. Business process improvement: Analyze existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and help develop practical solutions. Digital systems: Support the configuration and improvement of websites, spreadsheets, business applications, and other digital tools. Explore emerging technologies, investigate technical challenges, and evaluate potential solutions. Project support: Help organize project materials, document requirements, test functionality, and prepare client‑facing deliverables. Projects will vary based on current needs and your developing skills. You don’t need an extensive professional background or expertise in every technology we use. Strong curiosity about technology and how businesses operate. Clear written communication and an ability to explain technical concepts simply. Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, Excel, APIs, web development, or no‑code automation tools is an advantage, but not required. Students, recent graduates, career changers, and self‑taught candidates are encouraged to apply. Relevant personal or academic projects are valued. Real project
experience:
Contribute to practical technology and operational challenges. Explore automation, software, business systems, research, and consulting. Versatile work: Part‑time hours designed to accommodate other commitments. We’re building our presence and sharing more about the problems we tackle, the solutions we develop, and opportunities to contribute.
