Insight Global is looking for a Mechanical Designer to join a leading automation company. The candidate will be joining the mechanical engineering team to assist in designing custom mechanical solutions for their respective clients'. This individual will be responsible for performing engineering calculations, analyzing engineering drawings, producing work drawings, and providing design support related to the construction of industry regulations. The candidate must have hands‑on experience in automation mechanical design, SolidWorks, and a robust understanding of pneumatics/servo. 3+ years experience within Automaton Mechanical Design ~ Proficient with SolidWorks ~ Post-secondary diploma or degree in mechanical design, mechanical engineering or equivalent ~ Strong mechanical aptitude and machine design experience. ~ Experience designing mechanical mechanisms such as rack-and-pinion or cam-driven systems.
