Coordinate meaningful senior recreation programming at Parkland Ancaster using wellness planning, communication, and creative arts skills. This part-time position is based in Ancaster, Ontario.

Shannex is seeking a Recreation Coordinator for its Parkland Ancaster team. You will collaborate with residents and families across six wellness dimensions while supporting individualized and community-wide programs. The work includes resident orientation, partnership development, programming evaluation, and recreation services for special functions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess residents’ engagement across six dimensions of wellness
- Support resident goals and strategies for overall wellness
- Develop individualized and community-wide recreation programs




- Foster partnerships with local businesses and community groups
- Evaluate programming and oversee special-function recreation services

Requirements:

- Diploma or degree in recreation or related discipline
- Minimum two years’ senior recreation programming experience
- Strong communication, computer, and wellness knowledge
- Current CPR, First Aid, Food Safety, and Smart Serve certifications
- G Driver’s Licence, clean abstract, and adaptable availability
