This is a hands-on, non-managerial hardware engineering role supporting a primarily hardware-focused product portfolio, with some customer support responsibilities. The team designs and supports instrumentation and electronics products, including nodes and related accessories such as charging racks, data-download solutions, communication interfaces, and USB connectivity. The successful candidate will contribute to new product development and an upcoming large instrumentation project incorporating radio and wireless technology. The successful candidate will contribute to current product development and an upcoming large instrumentation project incorporating radio and wireless technology. Conduct technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Present technical findings clearly. Contribute to new product development and large instrumentation projects. 5+ years of hardware engineering experience ~ Strong electronics and instrumentation fundamentals ~ Ability to solve field-electronics and product issues through structured root cause analysis ~ Comfort supporting hardware products and responding to customer-facing technical issues ~ Clear technical communication and presentation skills Software experience Instrumentation experience, particularly digital instrumentation High-speed digital and RF layout experience The position is Calgary-based,



working on-site with a small team consisting of two team members and a manager, plus one off-site team member who is retiring. with flexible start and finish times around these core hours. This is a Permanent position based out of Calgary, AB. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
