About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Android Developer to join our growing technology team on a full-time remote basis in Canada. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience developing high-quality Android applications using Kotlin, Android SDK, Android Studio, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android architecture . You will work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, backend developers, and QA engineers to build scalable, reliable, and user-friendly mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain native Android applications. Build contemporary and responsive user interfaces using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose . Implement Android applications using MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Android Jetpack . Integrate REST APIs, JSON services, third-party SDKs, and backend systems. Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code. Debug application issues and improve performance and stability. Conduct code reviews and follow development best practices. Work with Git/GitHub for version control and collaborative development. Collaborate with designers, backend developers, QA teams, and product managers. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and technical discussions. Ensure applications work effectively across different Android devices and OS versions. Help publish and maintain applications on the Google Play Store. Required Skills ~2–5+ years of professional Android development experience. ~ Strong knowledge of Kotlin . ~ Strong experience with Android Studio and Android SDK .



~ Experience with Jetpack Compose . ~ Good understanding of MVVM / Clean Architecture . ~ Experience with Android Jetpack libraries. ~ Strong knowledge of REST APIs and JSON. ~ Experience with Git and GitHub/GitLab. ~ Knowledge of SQLite, Room Database, or similar local databases. ~ Understanding of Android application lifecycle and performance optimization. ~ Robust debugging and problem-solving skills. ~ Good English communication skills. Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with Firebase. Experience with Kotlin Coroutines and Flow. Experience with Hilt/Koin dependency injection. Experience with unit and UI testing using JUnit/Espresso. CI/CD experience for Android applications. Google Play Store publishing experience. Experience with payment gateways or third-party API integrations. Basic knowledge of backend technologies.
