The Manager, Event Operations directs food and beverage operations for high-volume events. This leadership role oversees supervisors and hourly staff while maintaining service standards, financial targets, and compliance. Responsibilities include training, event execution, guest service, cash reconciliation, inventory, and operational coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead food and beverage service for banquets and conferences
- Manage staffing, coaching, training, and performance reviews
- Oversee event setup, execution, cleanup, and secure closing
- Monitor service standards, guest concerns,



and operational compliance
- Coordinate kitchens, facilities, venues, clients, and vendors

Requirements:

- Three or more years supervisory experience in high-volume service
- Diploma or degree in hospitality preferred
- Valid WHMIS, First Aid, and ProServe certifications
- Valid Class 5 Alberta driver’s license mandatory
- Experience coordinating deliveries and take-out platforms
