Operate a propane counterbalance forklift onsite in Surrey, BC, using RF scanning to support shipping, receiving, and inventory. Work Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.
Aerotek is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for a contract-to-hire position in a cross-dock warehouse. The work includes trailer loading, freight organization, pallet building, and inventory tracking. Candidates need LTL or cross-dock experience, warehouse shipping and receiving experience, and robust communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a sit-down counterbalance forklift
- Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently
- Organize incoming and outgoing freight
- Process and track inventory using an RF scanner
- Build and wrap pallets
Requirements:
- Minimum one year of LTL or cross-dock experience
- Minimum one year of warehouse shipping and receiving experience
- Valid propane sit-down counterbalance forklift ticket
- RF scanner experience and attention to detail
- Ability to lift and move boxes up to 50 pounds
