Our client, a well-established and growing organization, is seeking a Manager, Payroll & Benefits to lead payroll and benefits operations across Canada and the United States. This is a highly visible role that combines payroll leadership, compliance, advantages administration, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. Payroll Leadership S. payroll processing Review, validate, and approve payroll changes, adjustments, and exception transactions Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, employment standards, tax requirements, and internal policies Manage payroll activities related to new hires, terminations, bonuses, salary changes, leaves, and severance payments Act as the escalation point for complex payroll, tax, and compensation inquiries Lead year-end payroll activities, including regulatory reporting and filings Benefits & Retirement Programs Manage administration of employee benefits and retirement programs across North America Oversee enrollments,
