Advise a Canadian mining company entering development, using strong drafting and negotiation skills across commercial contracts and projects. Work within a small collaborative legal team. This Legal Counsel role supports an investment group and its portfolio companies. Reporting to the VP, Legal & Risk, you will handle corporate, commercial, securities, and regulatory matters. Your work will support project, procurement, operational, and corporate development activities across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements Support mining project and equipment supply contracts Advise teams on contractual obligations and risks Assist acquisitions, joint ventures,



and financings Coordinate external counsel across multiple jurisdictions

Requirements:
Three to five years of post-call experience Canadian provincial law society membership in positive standing Strong drafting, negotiation, research, and analytical skills Corporate governance, commercial, or securities law experience Mining, natural resources, or construction familiarity preferred Apply corporate, commercial, and project counsel expertise to support responsible growth across a natural resources portfolio. #J-18808-Ljbffr
