Lead commercial waterproofing estimates across Ontario using technical expertise, quantity take-offs, and solid pricing judgment. Specified offers a growing division within an established contractor. Reporting to the Vice President, Estimating & Preconstruction, you will lead commercial and institutional waterproofing estimates. Apply knowledge of building envelope systems, contract documentation, and constructability. Engage clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors while supporting strategic division growth.

Key Responsibilities

Lead estimating for commercial and institutional waterproofing projects Review drawings, specifications, geotechnical information, and contract requirements Prepare quantity take-offs, budgets,



and competitive tender submissions Evaluate quotations and negotiate supplier and subcontractor pricing Develop estimating systems, cost databases, and standard costing models

Requirements:

Eight or more years estimating waterproofing, roofing, or building envelope construction Technical knowledge of commercial and below-grade waterproofing systems Ability to interpret architectural, structural, civil, and shop drawings Experience estimating projects from approximately $250,000 to $10 million or more Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Bring waterproofing expertise, analytical pricing, and relationship-building skills to Specified’s expanding Ontario estimating function.
