We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Backend Developer to join our core engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and secure backend systems. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of enterprise Java development experience, a strong background in big data processing using Apache Spark, and a passion for engineering excellence. Design, develop, and deploy robust, scalable, and microservices-based backend systems using Java and Spring Boot. Data Processing: Architect and optimize large-scale, distributed data processing pipelines using Apache Spark. Database Management: Write complex SQL/NoSQL queries and optimize database performance for high-throughput applications. Mentorship & Code Quality: Lead code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior and mid-level developers. Qualifications:

Experience:
7+ years of professional software development experience primarily focused on backend engineering.



Core Java: Deep expertise in Java (Java 8/11/17+), including multithreading, concurrency, memory management, and design patterns. Extensive experience with Spring Ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data). Big Data Frameworks: Proven track record of building and tuning production-grade data pipelines using Apache Spark (Core, SQL, or Streaming). Databases: Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL solutions (e.g., Tools & DevOps: Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions), Maven/Gradle, and Docker. Frontend Knowledge: Familiarity or hands-on experience with Angular (TypeScript, RxJS, state management), enabling smooth full-stack collaboration. Experience deploying and managing applications on cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in an agile workplace.
