Lead waterfront ship maintenance in Halifax with Thales, applying marine technical expertise and coordinating protected, compliant execution. This is a hybrid full-time position. The Ship Maintenance Team Lead supports the Ship Maintenance Team Manager during designated maintenance periods. You will oversee daily activities aboard ships, on the jetty, and from Thales trailers. The work involves stakeholder coordination, technical advice, reporting, and supervision of personnel and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate day-to-day waterfront maintenance activities Support Waterfront Safety Plan execution and HS&E; compliance Track operational deficiencies and maintenance progress Coordinate FER priorities and resolve delegated issues Coach personnel and support subcontractor supervision

Requirements:

Three-year marine technical diploma or recognized equivalent Three years’ recent technical marine-sector experience Experience supervising maintenance teams Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills Eligibility for Controlled Goods and NATO Secret clearance Bring marine maintenance leadership, stakeholder coordination, and safety oversight to Thales waterfront operations in Halifax.
