THE POSITION The 3rd Line Cook for the 4 Below is responsible for the preparation and cooking of all Staff Lunchroom products including following menus, abiding by policies and procedures related to food management, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. They are also responsible for providing courteous customer service to our patrons and be able to adapt to our customers’ needs.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Provide friendly customer service to our customers
- Follow planned menus and approved recipes
- Prepare products maintaining standards of quality, proportioning, and presentation;
- Control and minimize food waste;
- Report low quality product and spoilage to supervisor;




- Keep work area, tools, and equipment clean and orderly;
- Report potential safety hazards;
- Perform cleaning duties as directed;
- Follow food safe guidelines while preparing and cooking food products;
- Assist with training of new staff during shift;
- Actively participate in safety programs and follow polices;
- All other duties as assigned.

THE INDIVIDUAL The ideal individual will have the following background:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Ability to follow instructions and learn quickly;
- Positive attitude and a strong attention to detail;
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once and prioritize effectively.
- Previous industry experience is considered an asset.
