Sage Advisor Resources Corp., a subsidiary of the Insurance Brokers Association of Alberta (IBAA), is looking for an experienced insurance professional to join our team as an Account Executive.

In this role, you'll manage specialized insurance programs serving insurance brokerages across Alberta and Saskatchewan, including Errors & Omissions (E&O;), Cyber Liability, and Commercial General Liability (CGL) coverage. You'll work directly with brokers, insureds, underwriters, and industry partners while helping clients navigate risk and make informed insurance decisions.

What You'll Do

- Manage and grow our E&O;, Cyber Liability, and CGL insurance programs.
- Support renewals, endorsements, policy changes, and actively pursue all new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, underwriters, and industry partners.
- Provide guidance on coverage options, risk management considerations, and program eligibility.
- Identify opportunities to expand program participation and support business growth.
- Maintain accurate documentation and policy records.
- Support educational initiatives, webinars, and member engagement activities.
- Represent Sage and IBAA at industry events and association functions.

What You'll Bring





- Level 2 General Insurance License (or higher).
- Minimum 5 years of insurance experience.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while providing exceptional client service.
- Experience with broker management systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

- CAIB, CIP, CRM, or other industry designations.
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance and policy administration.
- Experience with E&O;, Cyber Liability, or specialty insurance products.
- Experience in account management, business development, or affinity insurance programs.

Total Compensation: $65,000 - $85,000 annually, including base salary and commission
