Full Stack AI Developer (Agentic AI, Cybersecurity)
Location: Remote (up to 10% travel)
Duration: 6+ months
Employment Type: W2 only
About the Role
We’re looking for a Full Stack AI Developer to build and support AI-powered cybersecurity applications on an enterprise security platform. You’ll work across the stack on agentic AI workflows, backend orchestration services, security-tool integrations, and real-time dashboards. The work spans vulnerability management, risk prioritization, and automated remediation.
Key Responsibilities
- Build control-plane UI features in TypeScript with Vue.js 3 (preferred) or React/Next.js. Examples include real-time agent streams, vulnerability dependency graphs, human-in-the-loop code-diff and approval panels, and executive metrics dashboards.
- Develop backend and orchestration services using Python (FastAPI, asyncio) and/or Go microservices, with resilient service-to-service communication and event-driven workflows.
- Build connectors for security tools, cloud platforms, code repositories, SIEM, ticketing, IAM, and third-party APIs. These must handle OAuth2 and token refresh, pagination, rate limits, retries, partial failures, and idempotent ingestion.
- Implement agentic AI workflows using LangGraph or custom agent loops, including:
- LLM function calling and tool execution
- Structured outputs with JSON Schema or Pydantic
- Model gateways, guardrails, validation, logging, and evaluation
- Server-side human approval controls
- Use Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Redis Streams for asynchronous processing,
and SSE/WebSockets for real-time status updates.
- Support vulnerability normalization and correlation, attack-path analysis, risk prioritization, remediation orchestration, and continuous validation.
- Apply secure coding practices, automated testing, observability, and performance tuning.
- Support deployments, troubleshooting, and production stabilization.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience building and running production systems.
- Solid Python skills (FastAPI, asyncio) and solid async/concurrent programming experience.
- Hands-on frontend experience with TypeScript and Vue.js 3, React, or Next.js.
- Hands-on experience with LLM-based applications, such as agent frameworks (LangGraph or similar), function calling, and structured outputs.
- Experience building API integrations with OAuth2, rate limiting, retries, and error handling.
- Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Redis Streams) and real-time protocols (SSE/WebSockets).
- Operational or on-call support experience.
- A security mindset: you treat external data and AI-generated code as untrusted.
Preferred Qualifications
- Go microservices experience.
- Cybersecurity domain experience, such as vulnerability management, SIEM, IAM, CSPM, or remediation tooling.
- Experience with LLM evaluation, guardrails, and model gateway patterns.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerized deployments.
Note: This position is open to W2 candidates only. No C2C or third-party submissions.
