VanMar Constructors ON Inc. is seeking a motivated and organized Construction Clerk to join our team. Reporting to the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent, this position plays an significant role in supporting daily site operations, coordinating administrative activities, and maintaining accurate project documentation.

The successful candidate will work closely with our site teams, subcontractors, and consultants to help ensure projects run efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide daily administrative and coordination support to the site management team.
- Prepare meeting agendas, record minutes, and coordinate follow-up communications.
- Assist with project schedules, daily work reports, and tracking site progress.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, logs, and filing systems using Procore.
- Track RFIs, Site Instructions, inspections, deficiencies, and project-related correspondence.
- Assist with purchase orders, invoices, timesheets, and equipment tracking.
- Support site safety documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements.
- Assist with project closeout documentation, including as-built drawings and maintenance manuals.




- Maintain an organized site office and support effective communication between project stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills
- Education in Construction Technology, Construction Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous construction or on-site experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of construction processes and documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, Bluebeam, and Procore.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to workplace safety.
- Experience reading construction drawings and specifications is considered an asset.
