Build reliable data systems at Squarepoint using Python, Linux, observability, and automation. This role supports critical infrastructure across Data Development operations.

As a Reliability Software Engineer, you will maintain data pipelines, automate operational workflows, and manage infrastructure. You will build tools for observability, regression prevention, and self-serve automation. The team also handles incident triage and active resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build automation for operational tasks and workflows
- Monitor and maintain Data Development infrastructure
- Own deployments, user support, and incident resolution
- Build production pipelines for research and trading data
- Perform root cause analysis and remedial actions

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject
- Four or more years in software or reliability engineering
- Two or more years programming in Python
- Proficiency with the Linux command line
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Git, Grafana, Kibana, Consul, or cloud platforms
