General Description The Warehouse/Shipping Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse and yard operations, including inventory management, order picking, material handling, and shipping/receiving. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in both indoor and outdoor environments. Skill/Effort Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous warehouse, shipping/yard, or material handling experience is an asset
• Valid forklift certification required (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience loading and unloading trucks
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems
• Ability to read and speak English to understand instructions, safety procedures, and documentation
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding work (max 50lbs)
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Solid teamwork and communication skills Responsibilities
• Organize and maintain Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) to ensure accurate stock levels
• Pick, pack,



and prepare components and materials for orders
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Perform quality checks on parts and materials as required
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and yard, including general cleaning duties
• Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders
• Label, store, and track materials in designation locations
• Perform regular inventory counts and assist with stock control
• Use basic computer systems for inventory and order processing
• Assist with general yard duties, including outdoor material organization
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions as required
• Follow all health and safety policies and procedures
• Work collaboratively as part of a team to meet operational goals
