Under the direction of a radiologist, this position performs computed tomography (CT) procedures, assists radiologists during procedures, applies established CT protocols and radiation safety practices, assesses image quality, inputs patient-specific data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), and provides orientation, guidance and demonstration of CT procedures to others including student technologists and staff trainees.
