The Part-Time Underwriting and Client Satisfaction Manager is a contract, remote role focused on supporting the advisory team in delivering high-quality client experiences. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating and overseeing underwriting processes for insurance and financial products, following up with carriers, and ensuring documentation and applications are accurate and complete. The role manages key milestones in the client journey, monitors service timelines, and proactively addresses issues or delays to maintain strong client satisfaction.

This position also involves maintaining detailed records in internal systems, preparing status updates for advisors, and contributing to process improvements that enhance efficiency and client outcomes. The manager collaborates closely with advisors and operations staff to ensure that clients experience consistent, professional, and timely service.

Qualifications

- Experience in underwriting or insurance administration, with solid attention to detail and familiarity with application, review, and approval processes.




- Client service and relationship management skills, including clear communication, responsiveness, and a focus on client satisfaction and retention.
- Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple cases, track deadlines, and manage workflows in a part-time, remote environment.
- Comfort with digital tools and CRM or case management systems, including accurate data entry, documentation, and reporting.
- Background in financial services, insurance, or wealth management is an asset, along with understanding of risk management and protection solutions.
- Ability to work independently under a contract arrangement, exercise sound judgment, and collaborate effectively with a small advisory team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are an asset.
- Post-secondary education in business, finance, administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
