Webisoft is a development lab and venture studio specializing in cutting-edge technologies. We're seeking a senior Rust engineer with hands-on Solana experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has shipped production programs on Solana, understands the runtime from the inside, and cares deeply about performance, correctness, and clean architecture. You live in or around Montreal. Must-haves
• Strong experience in Rust, with a deep understanding of systems-level programming
• Proven experience building and shipping Solana programs to mainnet, using Anchor and/or native Solana program development
• Solid grasp of the Solana runtime: the account model, PDAs, CPIs, rent, and transaction structure
• Experience optimizing programs for compute units, account size, and transaction throughput
• Familiarity with SPL Token and Token-2022, and with common program security pitfalls (signer and owner checks, account validation, reentrancy via CPI)
• Experience building off-chain components that interact with Solana: RPC clients, transaction building and retry logic, indexing, or Geyser plugins
• Solid software engineering fundamentals: API design,



testing strategy (including program testing with tools like Bankrun, LiteSVM, or solana-program-test), code review, and technical documentation
• Comfort working across the stack when needed: services, tooling, and integrations
• Strong habits around Git, CI/CD pipelines, and code documentation Nice-to-haves
• Experience with cryptography or zero-knowledge proof systems (a very strong plus), such as ZK compression or confidential transfers on Solana
• Exposure to validator or client internals (Agave, Firedancer), or to MEV infrastructure like Jito
• Experience with program audits, formal verification, or security review on Solana
• Background in other blockchain ecosystems or consensus mechanisms (e.g., Cosmos, Ethereum)
• Experience with async Rust (Tokio), WASM, or FFI boundaries
• JavaScript/TypeScript experience, especially with @solana/web3.js, Solana Kit, or wallet integrations
