Position: Senior Business Systems Analyst (Guidewire)

Toronto, Ontario (Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite) Engagement Model: Skilled Services Engagement – B2B (Incorporated Entities Only) About the Engagement Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst consultant to support Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter Cloud implementations, enhancements, and integrations for a leading organization. The engagement involves working closely with business and technology teams to gather and document requirements, improve system workflows, and ensure business objectives are aligned with technical delivery. Services to be Provided
• Lead end-to-end business analysis activities, including requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and validation.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and discussions to elicit and refine business and system requirements.
• Prepare business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, process flows, and user stories.
• Support Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter Cloud implementations, enhancements, and integrations.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and dependencies to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to maintain clear communication and a shared understanding of requirements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.




• Support testing activities, including UAT coordination, defect management, and validation of delivered functionality.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Expertise Required
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
• Guidewire PolicyCenter and/or BillingCenter Cloud certification.
• Proven experience supporting Guidewire implementations or enhancements.
• Strong requirements documentation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage timelines and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional and distributed teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail and quality. Nice to Have
• Experience in the insurance domain, particularly with policy management systems.
• Familiarity with rating engines and pricing systems.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments, including Scrum, SAFe, or similar frameworks.
